Naira Ruiz Wilson is a writer and editor based in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Her creative writing has been selected for Best Small Fictions 2022 and has appeared in Wigleaf, Typehouse Literary Magazine, Nymphs, Dynamis Journal, and Scribble. She’s an assistant nonfiction editor at Pithead Chapel and works as an essay editor. She received her master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University, where she focused on narrative nonfiction and opinion writing. Her reporting and opinion pieces have appeared in places such as Politico, The Root, The Washington Informer, The Pop Feminist, and Bitch Magazine.
